They put some stuffing inside so it makes it slippery when our pup is nibbling on it. Funny enough these last longer than much more expensive toys that claim more durability! In 8 months we’ve gone through 2. That’s pretty good! Not chew resistant, but the latex offers a texture and squeak that I find makes our puppy go easier on them. Cute and easily packable.
